You saw me cross the finish line. But what you didn’t see was everyone I was carrying with me. 🥹🩷

When I crossed the @mtlmarathon Half Marathon finish line, proudly holding my Brave Together bandana, I wasn’t thinking about my time or my pace.

I was thinking about all of YOU!!!!!

Every conversation. Every story shared. Every hug. Every person who showed up, not just to run, but to remind someone else they weren’t alone.

This summer, I had the incredible honour of being a Maybelline Brave Together Ambassador, raising awareness about mental health, anxiety, and depression through something that connects so many of us:🏃🏽‍♀️ RUNNING

I came into this experience hoping to make a difference in someone’s life.

But I don’t think you realize just how much of a difference you made in mine💗

You reminded me why showing up matters, why even the smallest conversations can mean so much, and why we should never underestimate the power of being there for one another.

To every run club that welcomed me with open arms, and every person who ran alongside us, shared their story, listened, or simply showed up for someone else… THANK YOU🩷🩷🩷. You made this summer something I’ll carry in my heart forever.

And to @maybelline , thank you for trusting me to be a voice for a cause so close to my heart. My little heart is still processing what an incredible privilege this has been. 🥹

I may have been the one crossing that finish line, but this moment belongs to all of us.

This one was about the people who reminded me why I STARTED!

We really are Brave Together. 🥹🩷

Feminism Is Destr%ying Our Generation; It’s Not Our Culture. We’ve Imported Dem%nic Ideas — Woman Blasts Feminists

A traditional woman has criticised feminism, describing it as a threat to the younger generation and arguing that some feminist beliefs conflict with traditional values on marriage, motherhood and gender roles.

Speaking during a trending episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast by Glitch Africa Studios, she questioned women who reject childbirth and challenge men over how they speak to them.

“Feminism, honestly speaking, is destroying our generation. It has gotten into their head,” she said, arguing that the ideology was influencing how younger women viewed relationships and their roles in society.

“This is not our culture, for goodness’ sake. We’ve imported dem%nic ideas,” she added, urging feminists to “come back to your senses” before asking, “What equal right are you fighting for?”

She also criticised women who refuse to cook or wash for their partners, mimicking what she described as their attitude towards domestic responsibilities in relationships.

“If you are marrying me, I can’t cook. I can’t wash. That’s me. I can’t,” she said, adding that s+x was the only thing some women were willing to offer their partners.

The traditional woman further defended traditional views on v+rgin+ty, describing it as a woman’s pride. She said her husband was her first s+x¥al partner and the father of her children.

Her remarks came during a discussion with a younger woman who challenged her position, highlighting differing views on feminism, relationships, equality and traditional gender roles.

Life isn't meant to be a checklist of achievements. There's a special kind of beauty in enjoying the little pleasures that make the heart beat faster. 💜
