A mindset reset is more than a conversation it’s a call to rethink, reimagine, and redefine Africa’s future.
I’ll be part of the #AfricaMindsetReset Forum in Kigali, joining the conversation as we move from Pan-Africanism to #Meta-Africanism challenging old perspectives, embracing new possibilities, and shaping an Africa driven by ideas, innovation, leadership, and collective action.
The reset is here. I’ll be there.

Until the day we exorcise the ghost of low self-esteem Africa is going nowhere! So brother go there and be the change Africa needs.✊🏿

What a day! It was fun until it wasn’t and then we all rallied to make it fun again.

Ran like a rookie early. Calves were cramping at the end of lap three, then locked up bad during a shoe swap. I headed out with @runboulet - the best pacer one could ask for - to see what we could salvage of the day. After over ~45 min of sitting on the side of the trail trying to get the legs to relax I stopped my race activity on my watch and we started to game plan how to get back to Javelin Jeadquarters so I could drop out. We got up and decided to walk for just a few more minutes, one step at a time. Then it became a slow jog, pointed in the right direction, toward the next aid station. I suffered and rallied over and over again but with some good company and motivation from @rl_linden over the last rainy and slippery loop, I made it to the finish line.

100 miles done. Found some limits. Learned some new things. “Enjoyed” a new way to participate in this wild sport. I hate to say it, but that was pretty fun.

Big thanks to the crew: @runboulet @rl_linden @lawrence_char @guenergylabs @yhauswald

A lady with boundaries. 👏 Mckenna Grace spoke with Cosmopolitan about her acting career so far and said she doesn't prefer to film "nudity or very hypersexual things" because it's "terrifying" to her, but she, of course, respects any other actor who can do it.(📸: Getty Images)

“I’ve had my daughter leaving school asking, ‘Is the building on fire?’” a parent tells NBC News.

It’s not a fire. It’s exhaust from a diesel generator outside one of the data centers surrounding Discovery Elementary.

The school, attended by more than 600 students, is located in the swath of Northern Virginia known as America’s “data center alley.” A total of 11 centers sit within a half-mile of the school, with two more on the way.

There are 264 such generators permitted for use at the data centers within half a mile of Discovery Elementary, according to an NBC News analysis of state Department of Environmental Quality records, raising concerns about the health impacts on students.
