I have never created a Tropical jungle collection or any related illustrations to this theme, so this is a first for me!
-
I love to push myself to create new art and drawing animals if something i both dread to start with but then start to love 😂
-
I have my sketches drawn up, my colour studies done and soon onto creating the full illustrations 😁 I'm super excited to see how these cute guys turn out!

My trip to Lebanon was entirely made possible by the fantastic team at @seenary0 whose work I got to be a part of while there. We did amazing workshops with women from Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. The power of theatre to create community and connection was in full force and the work done was so beautiful. The talent of the many women I met was outstanding and the stories shared and performed through their incredible writing was truly inspiring, I felt very lucky to be there. To see the work that @seenary0 does please check out their page and support if you can. It’s so important to provide spaces for people to use trauma for their own healing. I believe all aspects of theatre can do that and what I got to be part of in Lebanon affirmed that belief a thousand times. See their shows if you are in Beirut! All info on their website. Thank you all for allowing me to drop in and spend time with you, I can’t wait to do it again 💚 @hibahussein92 @lamaelamine @talaadaher @ranrounjoun @rayanhibta @victorialfleurlupton I am so grateful to you all and please if you find yourself in the photos let me know in the comments so I can add you! Xxx

If working with sick dogs has taught me anything in life it is that we should all try and live in the moment and do more of what we enjoy.

When I was in ICU battling for my life after depression and addiction I told myself if I got another chance I wouldn’t ever be afraid of failure ever again and I’d forget about possessions and the traditional things the world tells us we need to have or do in order to be happy.

All I could think of was either teaching sport to kids or spending time with dogs. I had no idea that change in outlook would lead me to being with dogs in the way I am now and having such a mission.

Its really hard being caught up in the rat race of life with bills, traffic, health issues, social expectations, stress, anxiety, addiction, missed opportunities, lack of options and every other thing that life throws at us all. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do. The only small bit of advice I can give is to try and do more of what you love as soon as you can. It could be learning photography, traveling to a new country, getting a dog, opening a cafe or playing sports you loved when younger. Just try and be kind to yourself and do more of what you love.

Big love ❤️
