Most people don’t know this, but before Dubai I owned a skin clinic in Belgium for 9 years. I’ve seen thousands of skins up close, and it made me extremely picky about what actually earns a spot on my shelf.

This is my simplified travel routine ✈️
When I’m traveling I always skip the aggressive ingredients, because actives combined with sun exposure and lots of flying is exactly how you damage your skin barrier instead of helping it. While traveling my focus is simple: hydration and repair. That’s it.

Recipe ⬇️ (3 Malpuas + ½ Batch Rabdi | ~488 Cals ~28g Protein) 🍎 3-4 thin apple slices 🌾 45g whole wheat atta 🌾 10g fine sooji 🥛 ~100ml toned milk for batter 🍬 Zero-calorie sweetener, to taste 🌿 1 tsp fennel seeds 🌿 3–4 cardamom pods 🧈 1 tsp ghee 🧀 100g High Protein Paneer 🥛 300ml toned milk for rabdi 🍬 Zero-calorie sweetener, to taste 🌿 Cardamom powder 🌼 3–4 strands saffron 💧 150ml water for syrup 🍬 3 tbsp zero-calorie sweetener for syrup 🌼 3–4 strands saffron for syrup 🌿 Cardamom powder for syrup 💚 Chopped pistachios, for garnish 🌸2 tsp rose water 👨🏻‍🍳 How to Make *For the Protein Rabdi* 1. Add 300ml toned milk to a pan and bring it to a boil. Let it reduce slightly. 2. Add crumbled High Protein Paneer and zero-calorie sweetener. Stir well and let it cook. 3. Add cardamom powder and saffron. Continue reducing until the mixture thickens. 4. Take out around two serving spoons of the milk and paneer mixture. Blend until smooth. 5. Add the blended mixture back into the pan and stir until the rabdi thickens. 6. Switch off the flame and let the rabdi cool. Refrigerate until serving. *For the Apple Malpuas* 1. Pound the fennel seeds and cardamom pods together. 2. Combine whole wheat atta, fine sooji, zero-calorie sweetener, and the pounded fennel and cardamom. 3. Add milk and ghee. Mix into a smooth, slightly flowing pancake batter. Adjust the milk as needed. 4. Dip the apple slices into the batter and coat them well. 5. Lightly grease a pan with ghee. Place the coated apple slices on the pan and cook on a low to medium flame. 6. Slow cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. *For the Saffron Syrup* 1. Add water, zero-calorie sweetener, saffron, rose water and cardamom powder to a pan. 2. Simmer for 3–4 minutes. *To Serve* 1. Dip the cooked apple malpuas in the saffron syrup for 3–4 minutes. 2. Remove and serve with chilled rabdi. 2027 Elections: We Can’t Find Enough Private Jets To Hire For Our Campaigns— Senate President Akpabio Laments Senate President Godswill Akpabio has lamented the difficulty he and other politicians preparing for the 2027 general elections are facing in hiring private jets for their campaign activities. Akpabio blamed the situation on the inability of private airline operators in Nigeria to meet the growing demand for air travel. He made the remarks during Tuesday’s plenary while lawmakers debated a motion seeking the enforcement of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) between Nigeria and China. Using the December festive season to highlight the pressure on the aviation sector, Akpabio urged the Federal Government to address the challenges facing domestic airline operators. “Watch December and the confusion. Even the private airlines cannot handle it. Common campaigns, we cannot see even private jets to hire. We should at least be able to urge the federal government to look into that to alleviate the plight of airlines,” he said. The Senate President also recalled when Nigeria had a national carrier, Nigerian Airways, which transported pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and operated flights to different destinations. According to him, the defunct airline once had between 32 and 40 aircraft. “We used to have a plane in those days carrying people to Saudi Arabia and all that. At the time, Nigerian Airways had about 32 planes on ground, about 40, going from one place to the other. So, how did we get here?” he asked. Akpabio maintained that Nigeria needs a national carrier capable of flying the country’s flag.
