Today we visited "the beasts of bugatti" exhibition @louwmanmuseum ..
A good look in how it was all done.
A W16 quad turbo engine for one of the most iconic cars of the past 25 years!!!!

The engine, a technical masterpiece.
2 VR8 engines in a V lineup. 4 rather big spooly boys, a lot of piping and wires and more..
Produces a 1001 horses and 1250nm.. other engines in later versions reached a massive 1600 to 1850hp!!!

Will you just look at it..

They fitted it to a lamborghini diablo which they had to rebuild the rear quarter panels so they could fit the radiators...

Lots of different things that are quite different to a stock VT.

So if you happen to have a diablo, can somehow russle up a W16 engine, you can build quite the project!!!! (Looking at you @onblackvince )

Tape rests, weird rims which look like steelies, german written stickers on everything (kühlung, hydrolieköl, und so weiter) ugly exhaust, etc..only.thing sort of nice was the interior but also screws through the dash for all kinds of measurement computers and data logging devices..

One of the first finished cars..the veyrun 16.4.

I have only seen once in real life, details where mind boggling..

Chiron, the follow up model. Again, so much tech, so impressive..

Special editions were also there..the veyron grand sport vitesse wrc. World record breaking monster which reached 410 km/h!!

The chiron super sport 300+ which reached 300 miles an hour! 490km/h..but they resticted it for the "normal" people to 440km/h..
Which makes my daily commute take a whole 20 seconds longer..#firstworldproblems

Some special edition..the bernar vennet, roadster which was specced by a french artist making it the most expensive open veyron around..
