“The Emergent Field of Becoming,” a show of four recent works by Jessie Rose Vala (@jessierosevala), transforms
@wellwellprojects into an anthropological dig in a bioluminescent bay, blending ancient and new with amphora, neon, chains, clay, looping video projections, salt crust remnants of a Pleistocene lake, glittering therapy sand, and the iconography of beckoning and blessing hands.
Still two final weekends to catch it in August, from 12-5pm plus extended closing hours Saturday, 8/29, 5-8pm alongside
@oregoncontemporary Converge 45’s opening reception.
