Nobody gives the eldest daughter a handbook. She just learns early that being “the responsible one” means growing up before she’s ready. She’s the one who is tired but gets called lazy, the one who carries problems quietly because asking for help feels like a risk. She loves her family deeply and still loses pieces of herself trying to be what they need. If this is you, your exhaustion is real, and you’re allowed to be looked after too.

I wrote a poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ and it’s out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way.

If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link.

[poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, eldest daughter, eldest daughter syndrome, family expectations, growing up too fast, emotional burnout, parentified child, healing journey]

MY ALBUM, ‘BLUE ALCHEMY’, IS OUT NOW !!!!!!!!! recently i’ve been trying to name things i love out loud more; i want to sit in the feeling of it. so far i have REALLY smiled about: glass ketchup bottles, the word liqueur, and most importantly, making music! blue alchemy is a collection of 14 songs that have been with me for a minute now and have never let me down. it’s a couple years of experiences that i maybe want to forget, so i immortalized them in music forever ❤️ music is the greatest joy in my life and i am so grateful that i get to share it with u. thank u for lending me an ear, a shoulder, and a brain. i’m smitten with u all

i want to say a huge, ginormous thank u to the producers/people behind the album … the CAST if u will take a bow
@carobae @sounds_like_jack @drewwpearson @dpolovick @johnmarknelson @halliemeltonmastering @sophie.holohan @elijahhill u deserve a standing ovation and in fact i am giving you one right now, you just cant see it <3 i am lucky to know you

sorry not meaning to wax a grammy acceptance speech so i will leave u with this: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Late to the party but still slayed ✨💅
