Attending Academy Museum Gala | Los Angeles, CA | October 17, 2026 _______________________________________________ @dior custom _______________________________________________ Let the Oscar campaign begin! Taylor attended the Academy Museum Gala in custom Dior which riffs on elements from Jonathan Anderson's latest SS2027 runway (pictured above). For a red carpet, I appreciated the adjustments made from the original version. The hip panniers were softened and slightly deflated (but still present for a touch of FASHUN). The bow (I, a lover of a bow!) became bedazzled and the bodice accented by crystals buried in the pleats. It made for a slightly more wearable look that felt thoughtfully tailored (pun intended!) to Taylor’s taste and love of a good sparkle. Though is anyone surprised? This is the result of her longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell, and the man who designed perhaps the most important - and still unseen! - gown she’s worn in her life: her wedding dress. As creative director, Anderson continues to prove what a masterful student he is of the French brand’s house codes. In this collection he returns to Monsieur Dior’s Zerline dress. The Zerline was originally made from crisp silk taffeta that held its shape. It had a similar bow at the bust and convex mounds covering the hips. Here, Anderson diffused that sharp silhouette by rendering it in soft fairytale pleated tulle and chiffon. Considering this is an Academy event and Taylor is continuing her efforts to secure a nomination (and hopefully win!) for the Best Original Song category, my mind looked back at her previous outings in support of “I Knew It, I Knew You.” If I reach, fashion math miiight take the bows from her Erdem dress at the premiere’s red carpet, the embellishments from her first performance that night, and the diaphanous fabrication + colour at the Grammy Museum to achieve this particular look and continue the style story. Though regardless of inspiration source, I think a round of applause is well-deserved for all involved as Taylor looks every inch a soft, ethereal vision. Photo by Fraser Harrison via Getty Images
This is my engineer with 10 years of experience. And this is our security guard, who has never written a line of code in his life. Can someone who’s never coded, but has the best vibe coding tools, beat an engineer using the old methods? The guard can’t type, so we installed @wisprflow and told him to just talk. He described what he wanted in his own words, and Wispr Flow turned it into clean, usable prompts. If you can explain an idea out loud, you can now build with it. The tools have gotten good enough to catch edge cases and write the spec for you. But knowing what a form is, or why something breaks, still matters. Vibe coding gets you further than ever. Understanding is what gets you the rest of the way. Who do you think won? Comment below

Saudi Arabia is aiming for a skyline unlike anything the world has seen. Rise Tower, a proposed skyscraper in northern Riyadh, could reach an extraordinary 2 kilometres into the sky—more than twice the height of Dubai’s 828-metre Burj Khalifa. With construction costs estimated at around $5 billion, the tower would form the centrepiece of Project Rise and its surrounding business district within the wider North Pole masterplan. If completed at its proposed height, it would set a new benchmark for the world’s tallest buildings. The project remains in development, with its final design and completion timeline still to be confirmed. For now, it represents an extraordinary ambition to reshape Riyadh’s skyline. Would you visit an observation deck 2 kilometres above the city? #TheTrillionaireLife #SaudiArabia #Riyadh #RiseTower #Architecture
