Jack Hughes had 6’4 Tom Wilson in front and 6’7 Vincent Desharnais behind him. He probably made the right call here 😅

Sometimes, love begins with embarrassment, overthinking, and one accidental message you wish you could take back.

She only meant to tell her best friend that she was falling for him. She never expected him to hear every second of that voice message. When she realized he had listened to all 47 seconds, she was terrified she had ruined something beautiful before it began.

But instead of pulling away, he showed up at her door with two coffees and a nervous smile. He wasn’t there to tell her that her feelings were too much. He was there because he had feelings of his own.

Sometimes, we worry so much about being the first person to fall that we forget the other person might be feeling the exact same way.

We overthink every message, analyze every change in tone, and wonder whether we should share our feelings or keep them to ourselves. We convince ourselves that honesty will scare someone away, so we hide our feelings and pretend we care less than we do.

But the right kind of love doesn’t make you embarrassed for having a heart. It doesn’t make you feel foolish for being honest, and it doesn’t ask you to pretend you don’t care just to keep someone interested.

Real love isn’t always about grand gestures or perfect confessions. Sometimes, it’s two coffees at your front door. Sometimes, it’s a nervous smile that tells you you’re not the only one scared. And sometimes, it’s hearing someone say, “You’re not falling alone,” when you’ve believed that falling in love means risking everything by yourself.

The most beautiful relationships aren’t the ones without fear. They’re the ones where two people are honest about that fear and still choose to take things one step at a time.

You don’t have to rush love to prove it’s real. You don’t have to hide your feelings to seem mysterious. You deserve a love where you can be honest, feel safe, and let your heart be seen.

One day, the thing you’re most afraid to admit might be exactly what someone else has been hoping to hear.
