Vital Impacts

Every story can open a door. And right now, we need those doors opened more than ever.

Join award-winning @natgeo photographers and Vital Impacts mentors @britta.jaschinski.photography and @paoloverzone , alongside Vital Impacts founder @amivitale, on September 17 at 12 PM ET for a candid conversation about turning an idea into a compelling story and a strong proposal.

There’s a special opportunity: one person who joins us live will receive a FREE 30-minute portfolio review with @amivitale . Ami doesn’t often offer portfolio reviews, so this is a rare chance to have her look at your work, talk through your vision, and share honest feedback on where you might take it next.

Our world needs thoughtful, powerful environmental storytelling. We need more stories that help us understand what’s possible, who is creating change, and how to get involved.

The @vital.impacts 2027 Fellowships & Mentorships open call is now live, and we want to help you put your strongest proposal forward. We’re offering one $20,000 fellowship, six $5,000 fellowships, and 10 year-long mentorships to support photographers telling stories about our planet, its people, and the urgent environmental challenges and solutions shaping our future.

Bring your questions. Bring your ideas. We’d love to see you there. September 17 | 12 PM ET | Join us live.
