An idol is anything in your heart you put before God or refuse to let go of. We can all use some reflection in this area. If we are not careful anything and anyone can become an idol. So, check your heart often and repent often. #heartcheck #idol
Have you ever surrendered everything in your life EXCEPT one area or one thing? It can be hard to trust God in areas that you have learned to protect or do yourself. But we were not meant to carry things on our own. Itโs time to let it go.
If God looks at our hearts we should often pray for Him to purify it and let us see things and people the way He does.
Sometimes, a trial is not punishment it is a well crafted lesson that we refuse to learn. When things feel hard, confusing, overwhelmingโฆ stop and pray. Ask God what His purpose is through this.
The hardest person to forgive is oftentimes yourself. Give yourself the same grace you give others and God gave you.

Casting your cares to God is a daily event. Every time you gather a new worry or care and you realize it. Cast it to God because He cares u#
