Urban Canvas

Having the chance to paint a mural celebrating Sir Kenny Dalglish was special enough, nevermind painting a second one. Then seeing King Kenny standing in front of the murals and watching him add his signature to the walls was the stuff of dreams. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this moment and these murals happen.

Thank you Sir Kenny, for your kind words, for taking the time to speak with me and my family, and for signing Lucie’s Scotland top amongst other things.

Thanks to all the team at Arc for their kind hospitality and for setting us up each day with finest breakfast in all of Liverpool. Cheers to Stew & Connor for getting the walls all ready for us and for being on hand for whatever we needed. Thanks too to Don over the road for the lend of a broom, a dust pan, masking tape and more.

Big shout to Kieran @urbancamerauk for photography and for capturing some unbelievable drone footage well worth the drive to chase the sunset and the 5AM start to catch the sunrise.

Didn’t walk alone painting these… super massive thanks to Ste and Elliott for working alongside us on long shifts in all weathers, couldn’t have turned these jobs without yas.

Go on!
