A timeless JU-52 crossing the rugged peaks of the Alps - where aviation history meets the grandeur of the mountains.

With its distinctive corrugated metal skin, unmistakable silhouette, and the unmistakable sound of its three engines, the JU-52 has a character that makes it much more than an aircraft — it’s a true legend beloved by generations of aviation enthusiasts. ❤️

The Finnish Ice Hockey Association 🇫🇮 is in talks with other national federations to form a bloc against Russia 🇷🇺 returning to IIHF competition! ❌

Translated Article ⬇️

The decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Friday, October 30, triggered an extensive process. In Finland and many other member federations of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), efforts began to identify all possible means to keep Russia—which is currently waging a war of aggression—out of World Championship tournaments.

Over the weekend, the Finnish Ice Hockey Association has been in active contact with other IIHF member federations. This cooperation and dialogue will continue intensively throughout the coming week.

«We are currently working to bring as many countries as possible into a united front to inform the IIHF that none of us will play against Russia under the current circumstances. This carries significantly more weight than if we were to make such a statement on our own,» says Heikki Hietanen, Chairman of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association.

In its meeting on Monday evening, the Board of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association decided to keep all available options on the table to resolve the matter. Any decisions will be made based on careful preparation, available legal information, and the overall best interests of the Finnish ice hockey community.

“Our stance is that we will not play against Russia as long as the war of aggression against Ukraine continues,” says Hietanen.

A two-day meeting of the IIHF Council began on Monday, November 2, with the issue concerning Russia as the primary topic.

“It is the IIHF’s responsibility to provide information about the meeting once it has concluded. Naturally, I have made Finland’s position on the matter clear, and we will continue this work tomorrow,” says Hietanen, who represents Finland on the IIHF Council.

30-Year-Old Tenerife Striker, Jesús de Miguel, D+es After Suffering Cardiac Arrest Following On-Pitch Collision During Match

Spanish football club CD Tenerife has announced the d+ath of its striker, Jesús de Miguel, aged 30, a day after he suffered a cardiac arrest following a collision during a league match.

De Miguel collapsed after colliding with Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono during a Segunda División encounter between both sides. The incident occurred seven minutes into stoppage time when Owono rushed out of his area to clear a long ball but struck the forward in the chest with his knee.

The match was subsequently abandoned as players from both teams immediately called for medical assistance. Medical personnel attended to De Miguel on the pitch for more than five minutes before he was transported to a hospital by ambulance.

Despite the medical intervention, the 30-year-old d+ed on Tuesday, prompting an outpouring of tributes from football clubs, players and officials across Spain.

Tenerife confirmed his passing in an emotional statement, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of the forward.

The Spanish Football Federation also postponed all matches scheduled for Tuesday as a mark of respect, while UEFA announced that a minute of silence would be observed before European fixtures this week.

De Miguel was born in Madrid in 1996 and joined Tenerife from Castellón ahead of the 2025/26 season. He scored 11 goals last season.
