After my twins, I felt like I was fighting against my own body, trying to heal my diastasis recti (ab separation). Since then, I’ve gotten certified to teach this but these are still the things I wish I’d known sooner. I think they would have made my own healing smoother and faster. And if you want more help with your core comment 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 and I’ll send you my FREE Core Breathing Series and my Diastasis Recti Core Guide! Both options help! Ok here we go: 1. 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 You can flex or suck in all you want, but that often creates downward pressure on your pelvic floor, which can lead to leakingand back pain from overcompensation 2. 𝐍𝐨 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐱 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞. You can lose a layer of fat and still have a belly pooch from diastasis recti. So first learn to breathe, then learn to brace, then increase the challenge, and be amazed! 3. 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭𝐬. There’s no need to fear a sit-up. You may just not be ready to weave it back into your routine yet, but you can eventually! Real core progress comes from learning the base layer of core connection, then adding progressions to work back up to challenging moves. And don’t just do what someone else with abs is doing. It might not be right for you. 4. 𝟑𝟔𝟎 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤. It seemed woo-woo to me at first, but now I see it as a vital skill, not only for my core but for my nervous system and stress levels too. Breathing into your ribs, belly, and back naturally connects to the movement of your pelvic floor as it relaxes and contracts. This is literally the first s
ALLOW ME TO REINTRODUCE MYSELF. My name is Yetunde Anikulapo-Kuti, professionally known as Chef Yeide. I’ve been a chef for 17 years, and my journey has been one of learning, growing, discovering, and constantly finding new ways to express myself through food. I studied Culinary Arts at Westminster Kingsway College in London, and over the years, I’ve explored different aspects of the culinary industry, from running a restaurant to teaching and building my own spice brand, @yeides_spices , and creating food experiences that bring people together. Beyond the kitchen, I’ve also had the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world through music and dance, experiencing different places and cultures along the way. One thing I’ve learnt over the years is that no matter how much experience you have, you never stop learning. There’s always a new skill to develop, a different technique to master, and another level to reach. After 17 years, my passion for food continues to grow, and there’s still so much I want to do, learn, and create. If you’ve been here for a while, thank you for being part of my journey. And if you’re new here, welcome! I’m Chef Yeide. Here’s to the journey so far and everything that’s still to come. Cheers to 39! 🥂Happy birthday to me! 📸@kolaoshalusi love love my pictures thank you

Tesla’s long-awaited new Roadster made a flying debut Thursday, launching off a ramp, flipping in midair and landing safely during a dramatic unveiling at SpaceX’s test site in McGregor, Texas. The electric sports car used a fan-powered suction system to drive up a curved ramp until it was upside down, then deployed compressed-air thrusters developed with SpaceX to take flight. In another demonstration, it jumped over a lineup of vehicles, including a semi-truck. “Turns out the future does have flying cars,” Elon Musk said on stage. Tesla also demonstrated acceleration from zero to 60 mph in under a second. Musk said certain versions can reach speeds above 230 mph. But buyers will have to wait. Nearly nine years after Tesla first showed its next-generation Roadster concept in 2017, executives now say production will begin in 2028. Tesla did not announce a new price Thursday. Its original advertised starting price was $200,000, before years of delays pushed the project back. Tesla's reservation page for the Roadster after Thursday's event listed a $50,000 reservation payment for the "Performance" version and a $250,000 reservation payment for the "Thrust" version, which features "acceleration thrusters." An invite-only "Rocket" variant is a single-seat model with a "full flight system."
