The side of parenthood no one prepares you for... โค๏ธ Parenting expert @ericakomisar explains why having children can be one of lifeโ€™s most rewarding experiences, but also one of its toughest. From sleepless nights to constant sacrifice, she believes future parents need to understand the challenges that come with raising a child. The struggle is real, but she says the rewards make it worthwhile.
Former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms won Georgiaโ€™s governor race, becoming the first Black woman in US history to hold the office. Bottoms sought to spur Democratic voters while overcoming her competitor, Rick Jacksonโ€™s, narrow polling edge in the race to succeed Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, a Republican whoโ€™s barred by term limits from seeking reelection. Her election underscores Democratsโ€™ growing competitiveness in Georgia, a longtime Republican stronghold that has emerged as one of the countryโ€™s most hotly watched battleground states.
