Bloomberg published an in-depth report on the making of GTA VI, with journalist Jason Schreier visiting Rockstar's studio in Edinburgh and speaking with the developers behind the game.

One thing he learned was that Rockstar's leadership believes its next title won't take another eight years to develop.

Rockstar's technical director, Phil Hooker, explained that the game engine, development tools and team built during GTA VI's production should allow future projects to move faster.

Advances in AI and other development technologies could also help reduce production time, although Rockstar hasn't confirmed how much it plans to rely on them.

For now, it's an expectation rather than a confirmed timeline.

🧠💬 One of the lead engineers working on Claude just shared a prompt that changes how you use AI.

Felix Rieseberg says people should aim higher when using AI. His advice is to ask for a deeper version of your task, rather than simply asking AI to do more.

He shared a prompt that makes AI think about how a top expert would approach your request, which tools they would use, and how they would check their work.

Here's the full prompt you can copy and try:

PROMPT:
"I want a deeper version of this task, not a bigger one. Before rewriting it: (1) say what a top professional in this field would do here that I’m not asking for; (2) name the rawest material they would start from instead of what has already been digested for me; (3) name the specific methods and tools they would use; (4) say what, other than you or me, would show the result is right. Then rewrite my prompt to ask for exactly that."

You can use this with almost any task, from research and writing to coding and business plans.

Save this prompt and try it next time you use ChatGPT or Claude! ✅
