In a Monday court order, obtained and first reported by Billboard, a judge ruled that Morgan Carey has not met the requirements to sue his superstar sister over passages of her book that suggested he had sold cocaine and done prison time.

New York law requires a defamation lawsuit against a public figure to plead “actual malice” — that is, demonstrate that they lied on purpose.

Remember who you are & why you’re here ~

2. Hummingbird hang🪽

Quick important note on feeding / supporting hummingbird populations!

I set out a few glass feeders during peak migration season, but the majority of their support comes from living native flowering plants on the land. Plants like Autumn Sage, Flame Acanthus, Red Yucca, Turks Cap, Desert Willow here in Texas. Plants are their natural balanced food source & they are priority. Please support local and chemical free plant nurseries.

Inside my feeders I ONLY use Organic White Sugar. A 4:1 ratio of filtered water to sugar. Never any synthetic liquids from the store, so many are swimming with colorants. NO brown or Turbinado sugars (the iron can be fatal in the birds, molasses can’t be digested properly). No honey, artificial sweeteners or powdered sugar.

I clean my feeders every 2-3 days during hot seasons & every 4-5 days during cooler seasons. Using a 9:1 ratio of organic white vinegar to water solution. Rinsing very well. No soaps. Feeders have to be pristine clean.

Glass feeders that keep hummingbirds in motion are best. Keeping their wings in flight so they can escape predators fast. For ones like in the video that they perch onto, I keep higher up to protect from predators.
