This was a very challenging meet:

22 hr flight to SA ✈️
Sickness + hormones hit me 🩸 🦠
Prep took a mental and physical toll on my body

As much as I wanted a different outcome for myself, I came into this meet deciding that having fun and doing my best were more important.

So I did exactly that and gave everything I had on that day. Regardless of the outcome, I am still proud and grateful for the opportunity to represent Team USA and for everyone who supported me and believed in me.

I wouldn't be able to do this alone. The Lord has truly blessed me with amazing friends, family, coaches and people in my community who wholeheartedly love, support and celebrate my growth. Their time and energy poured in this prep and my life has greatly impacted me and means more than words can say.

This wasn't the meet I wanted, but I'm looking forward to making the most of what's ahead and coming back better than ever. 💫🔥💪🏻
