spicy steak pasta 🍝🥩 Ingredients (2 servings): Penne pasta – 200 g Beef steak – 250–300 g Heavy cream – 180 ml Parmesan – 50 g Onion – 1 small Garlic – 3 cloves Tomato paste – 1 tbsp Olive oil – 1 tbsp Butter – 1 tbsp Fresh rosemary – 1 sprig Smoked paprika – ½ tsp Chili flakes – 1 tsp Salt and black pepper – to taste Fresh basil or parsley – for serving (optional) Instructions: Ideally, cook the steak and pasta simultaneously using two pans so everything is ready at the same time. If cooking them one after the other, follow this order: 1. Season the steak with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat and sear the steak for 2–4 minutes per side. Add butter, 1 crushed garlic clove and rosemary, then baste the steak with the melted butter. Transfer to a plate and let it rest, loosely covered with foil. 2. Cook the penne in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining. 3. In the same pan used to cook the steak, sauté the finely chopped onion until softened. Add the remaining 2 minced garlic cloves and cook for 30 seconds. 4. Stir in the tomato paste, smoked paprika and chili flakes. Cook for 1–2 minutes. 5. Add the heavy cream and grated Parmesan. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy. 6. Add the cooked pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss until the pasta is fully coated in the sauce. 7. Slice the steak and serve it over the pasta. Finish with extra Parmesan and fresh basil or parsley, if desired. Enjoyy! #easyrecipe #dinneridea #steakdinner #pastarecipe
