Last time we were here was nearly 50 years ago with our mom and grandma. Feeling very happy and fortunate for this time. More to come! ❤️

💔 The End of an Era 💔

Baby Barker, I mean Boucher, coming 2027 🤟

Brushing his teeth, getting dressed, holding a glass. For Guðmundur Felix Grétarsson, every one of those moments took 23 years to get back ❤️

In 1998, the Icelandic electrician was working near an 11,000-volt power line when a devastating accident cost him both of his arms. For more than two decades, he couldn’t hug his daughters or handle simple daily tasks on his own.

That changed in January 2021, when surgeons in Lyon, France performed a world-first operation, transplanting two donor arms along with the shoulders. After months of intense rehab, movement slowly returned, and Felix finally got to do what he’d been waiting for since 1998: wrap his arms around his daughters and grandchildren.

Today, he can take care of everyday basics on his own, a milestone that once seemed impossible 🙏
