I had to change my title, which lead to an epiphany which made me rewrite a great part of the arc. But, no regret, I love the new version! Let's hope my beta readers will too!

Lemao I feel this so much. I had to change the name of an important group of people in my book, and doing so actually helped the story!

Africans across the continent are enraged following the tragic killing of 15-year-old Ghanaian teenager Javits Frimpong, who was fatally shot in the Bronx, New York. The teenager had reportedly been experiencing bullying at school, sparking conversations about the treatment of African children abroad.
Even rapper Cardi B has weighed in, condemning bullying and urging parents to teach their children kindness and respect.

The tragedy has also brought back painful memories of Damilola Taylor, a 10-year-old Nigerian boy murdered in London in 2000. Many Africans are now questioning the hostility directed at African children and calling for an end to bullying and xenophobia. #javitsfrimpong
