Ain’t No Good out now!

It’s a story song. Partly truth partly fiction. My buddy Kullen @elsaddle let me borrow his b-bender telecaster right before this session, so that’s what you’re hearing on the intro. If you don’t know Kullen, he’s one of the most talented multi-instrumentalist you could ever see. He was gracious enough to put some keys and trumpet on this bad boy so that’s who you’re hearing at the end there. The album DARKHORSE drops Nov 6.

india on my plate • ep 4 - assam • til diya kukura mangxo/ black sesame chicken ingredients: 1. chicken: 600 g 2. black sesame seeds: ½ cup 3. mustard oil: ¼ cup 4. onions: 2 medium, sliced 5. green chillies: 3, chopped 6. ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp 7. turmeric powder: ¼ tsp 8. salt: to taste 9. cumin powder: 1.5 tsp 10. garam masala: 1.5 tsp 11. hot water: 1½ cups for garnishing: 1. fresh coriander 2. 2–3 slit green chillies 3. lemon juice (optional) method: 1. start by dry roasting the black sesame seeds on low heat until fragrant. keep stirring and be careful not to burn them, since it’s difficult to tell when black sesame is over-roasted. let them cool, then grind into a fine powder and set aside. 2. heat mustard oil in a pan. add the sliced onions and cook until translucent. add the chopped green chillies, ginger garlic paste and turmeric. continue cooking until the onions soften. 3. add the chicken and salt. cook on high heat for about 3 minutes, then add the roasted black sesame powder. mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. 4. pour in 1½ cups of hot water, cover and let the chicken cook for 20–25 minutes, or until tender. 5. once the chicken is cooked, remove the lid and increase the heat to medium-high. add cumin and garam masala powder. continue cooking until the excess water evaporates, the gravy thickens and the oil begins to separate. 6. finish with fresh coriander, slit green chillies and a squeeze of lemon if you like. serve hot with rice or roti! #indiaonmyplate #assamesefood #assamesecuisine #blacksesamechicken #regionalindianfood

🎗️🇮🇱❤️‍🩹GOOSEBUMPS: One Year Ago Today: After 738 Days of Tears, They Were Finally Home in Their Families’ Arms! For 738 days, mothers cried themselves to sleep. Fathers prayed for one more embrace. Families stared at empty chairs, wondering if they would ever hear their loved ones’ voices again. 💔 And then, one year ago today, the impossible became real. After two years of unimaginable suffering in Hamas captivity, they were finally home. The trembling hands. The uncontrollable sobs. The mothers holding their grown sons like little boys, afraid to ever let go again. 738 days of stolen hugs. 738 days of unanswered prayers. 738 days of waiting for one more chance to say, “I love you.” And then came the moment that broke an entire nation’s heart in the most beautiful way. For the first time in two years, the tears weren’t because they were gone. They were because they were finally home. ❤️ Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱🎗️SHARE! 🚨 Don’t risk losing us in your feed.
