15-Year-Old Girl Wakes Up In Coffin During Her Funeral After Being Wrongly Declared De@d By Her Father In Guatemala

A 15-year-old girl, identified as Yuleidy Ixcotoyac, reportedly shocked mourners in Guatemala after waking up inside her coffin during her funeral, hours after her father mistakenly declared her d+ad.

According to reports, Yuleidy collapsed while her father, Abraham Ixcotoyac, was driving her to a medical centre. He claimed he could neither feel her pulse nor detect her breathing and declared her d+ without a doctor confirming it.

A coffin was subsequently purchased, and a funeral was arranged about eight hours after she collapsed in the village of El Jocote.

During the wake, her mother, Lesvia Ríos, reportedly noticed movement inside the coffin while crying over her daughter. The family opened it and discovered that Yuleidy was moving before she suddenly sat up and began speaking.

“I kept saying she was alive; she wasn’t d+ad,” her mother told local media, recalling how she noticed her daughter moving inside the casket.

The family reportedly helped the shaken teenager out of the coffin and gave her water as their grief turned to relief and celebration.

Recounting what happened before she collapsed, Yuleidy said her heart began hurting badly before she blacked out.

The teenager is now conscious and recovering at home. She reportedly thanked God for being alive.

Guatemalan health authorities have yet to publicly comment on the incident.

My mother did something so special for me on my birthday this year. Over the years because of the favor of God and because of all of you supporting my ministry the way you have, I had 5 consecutive Billboard #1 albums. I’ve also had two Billboard #1 radio songs. I Give Myself Away was certified gold (almost platinum now). I also had a Grammy nomination and several other awards and nominations over the years. I was one of Billboard’s top 10 artists of the decade. Yet over the years not only have I not said anything about it, but never had any of the plaques made to commemorate these milestones. My awards have never been displayed because they were never my pursuit. I discovered early that it wasn’t healthy for my heart. This is not an indictment on others, just speaking for myself. I never wanted things to become the object of my pursuit. Just Christ alone.

Over the years of traveling around the world (over 50 countries), my kids were younger then and never fully knew how much favor the Lord had shown me. I began to express the desire for them to be able to have something tangible to see some of what the Lord had done through their daddy. So on my birthday as a surprise to me, my mother presented me with just some of the things I never had made. Each of my 5 kids holding a number 1 plaque. Each project made after one of them was born. The pictures don’t even show all of the plaques. God has been really good to me and you guys have too! But the truth still remains that no matter what “success” comes and goes, “Only You can satisfy my heart Jesus!”

Two Cohibas. One empty chair. 🕯️
Today at 17:00, Klaus Rader and I were supposed to meet in our favourite cigar lounge in Munich.
Instead, I’m sitting here with his favourite cigars, trying to find words for someone who was so full of life, and whose life ended so suddenly last Friday in a car accident. He was 63.
Klaus was a “Lebemann” in the fullest sense: A successful entrepreneur, a happy husband, a father. Someone who enjoyed life and helped others to enjoy, too.
Through @losteria.de and @vapiano_deutschland which he helped create and shape, he brought Italian food and lifestyle to millions of people in Germany. He helped define what a good pizza, a lively restaurant and a generous Italian welcome could feel like. Today, I brought two Cohiba cigars. I tried smoking both, but his place is his. So I’m staying with mine and imagining him beside me, enjoying his.
My heart goes out to his wife @vikyrader and his children, his close friends and longtime companions and to the entire L’Osteria famiglia. So many people have lost a mentor, a friend, a trusted partner and a boss who cared.
Klaus, thank you for the conversations and for everything you built for the people around you.
You leave a chair that nobody else can fill.
Ciao, mein Zigarrenfreund. 🤍 No choice but to LOVE❤️
