Civil servant Kashim Chowdhury, 55, is accused of fraudulently juggling five Government jobs at once, allegedly using remote working and sick notes to manage his workload.

Prosecutors told Southwark Crown Court he allegedly earned almost £350,000 from eight employers between 2020 and 2023, and even wore make-up during a video call to appear unwell.

Chowdhury denies nine counts of fraud, and his trial is ongoing.

Did you all catch these Carrie Easter eggs? From Stephen King references,The Dark Tower connections to Evil Dead, The Haunting of Hill House and more hidden Mike Flanagan callbacks, this series is filled with horror details you might have missed, which DUH, Flanagan is a genius at this haha. I don’t think I got them all though

Which Easter egg did you spot first?

Around 5, after Suruchi, we were at La Pino’z in Kamla Nagar Market. While waiting for our order, we happened to look out through the glass window on the first floor and saw a funeral procession passing by.
There weren’t many people accompanying it. Then, barely five minutes later, a woman came running after the procession, completely undone by grief. She was crying uncontrollably. A few other women followed close behind her.
For some reason, I have not been able to get the image of that woman out of my mind. The way she ran after the procession with grief following every naked footstep of hers.
