Days like today are always exciting, but they’re also a reminder of all the days and milestones we’ll never get with our sweet Axyl. 💙

It’s one of the many things you don’t realize you’ll lose when you lose a baby—the first days of school, the birthdays, the little accomplishments, and all the moments you imagined you’d get to experience.

It’s hard to believe it’s been that long, when some days it still feels like yesterday that we found out we wouldn’t be bringing him home with us.
