LISTEN LOUD 🔊🔊🔊…. When @tinaarena asked me to direct the new video for her TRUE FAITH cover (originally by @neworderofficial), I almost fainted.
I think I said no - twice!!! Why? Because I didn’t think I would be able to do justice to one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite people.
After discussing it with my family, we decided I should give it a go.
So the journey began... how do we use this video to start unravelling the beautifully detailed layers of Tina through this lyrical feast.
This video is a conversation between “Tina now and Tina then”
“.. the internal dialogue
with her younger self. A discussion of all that she wanted and all that she sacrificed to become what she is now.
Young Tina is played by my eldest daughter valenTINA - who is the same age as Tina was when she burst through our screens.
Having my daughter in this video makes this moment a favourite in my career.
Thank you @tinaarena @parisi81065 and @anthewitt17 and Ofcourse @mikeyayoubi for believing in my team. A huge shout out to Jo @theartistgroup For making this happen. Also beautiful Amber @commonhoursofficial for the gorgeous pieces…. And finally @claudiarosemotion thank you for helping me with the drone.
