A happy return.

I’ve been picking up the guitar on and off for years, mostly by ear, mostly trying to figure out what I’m hearing in my head.

It still feels like learning a new language.

Sometimes I forget it. Sometimes I find it again. Sometimes my hands catch up to what my ear already knew.

But I keep returning.

Maybe that’s part of why I love music so much.

I know how to find myself living between the beats.
