2 months agoCamp Amnicon rents out these cozy little hermitage cabins out of Superior, WI. Absolutely love getting away there to the sandy beaches on the south shore just across from Duluth.🙏Affordable. Non-profit. Eco-friendly.

2 months agoAlso @tashiahart and @jonthunder have been doing great writing based in Duluth 😊
2 months agoMy fav spot in Duluth is the trail at the end of Park Point- huge old growth pines to climb, wild beaches, a graffiti covered abandoned building.. Do you know what time of year you’ll be here? @zenithbookstore would be a good stop they could point you towards interesting history!
2 months agoAt Sara’s Table is full of queer cuties, used books for sale, and has legitimately great food!
2 months agoBetween "leaf peeping season" which ends around the 3rd weekend in Oct. and Bentleyville opening weekend which is just around Thanksgiving would probably be the best time to find a good deal and you'd be in town for the Gales.

2 months agoI don't have any hookups, but I know the area pretty well, and I know that there are some decent Airbnbs near beaver bay/silver lake. Also, if you are into camping, it may be a little pricey but hungry hippie hostel is a pretty cool rugged spot and they have some taco places up there too
