THIS is the Raybrig Team Kunimitsu Honda NSX GT from 2018. Japan’s Super GT has consistently been the fastest GT racing cars on the planet alongside the DTM before it turned into a regional GT3 championship. Super GT has become one of the most iconic racing series in the world.
The GT-500 is a silhouette racer class, meaning that most body panels and chassis components do not share with the road car. This NSX GT has a 2.0L turbo 4 that produces around 650hp in a car that weighs as much as a Miata (2350lbs with driver). With this spec, it has consistently put down lap times 2-3 seconds faster than the current WEC Hypercars around Fuji Speedway.
This NSX GT preceded the Honda Civic Type R GT, which will now be replaced by Honda Prelude GT.

The two drivers who drove the car to the championship were: Naoki Yamamoto (my GOAT), & 2009 F1 Champion Jensen Button Around the same time, Naoki also won the Super Formula Championship, the first to do so in the same year. He would proceed to do it again in 2020
