get a lot of questions about my Lyme journey and what treatment looked like, so I wanted to share a little more of my experience!!
There were long treatment days, exhaustion, fear, uncertainty, and so many moments where I had to choose to keep going even when I didn’t know what the outcome would be.
And the honest answer is… we’re still figuring out the full picture. After finishing treatment, I went into a significant lupus flare, which made it complicated to know exactly what was Lyme-related and what was autoimmune-related. At the same time, my Lyme numbers looked incredibly encouraging.
Chronic illness rarely gives us a neat “before and after.” Sometimes healing is messy. Sometimes it’s progress mixed with setbacks. Sometimes it’s trusting God in the middle of unanswered questions!!!!
