Meet our speaker at IdeaFest 2026, Razka Robby Ertanto, Director of Kisah Mawar (Rose) & Founder of Summerland.
Razka Robby Ertanto has built a filmmaking practice around stories that explore the complexity of people, places, and the realities that shape them. Since his directorial debut with Takut: Faces of Fear in 2008, his films have travelled across international festivals, while works such as 7 Hati, 7 Cinta, 7 Wanita, Ave Maryam, Jakarta vs Everybody, and Yohanna have established his voice within Indonesia’s contemporary cinema landscape.
His journey reflects a commitment to telling stories that can move beyond the screen and into wider cultural conversations. From international premieres to multiple recognitions at JAFF and Jakarta Film Week, Razka continues to challenge himself through stories that carry emotional depth, social resonance, and a distinctly personal perspective on Indonesian life.
✨ Join Razka Robby Ertanto on Sunday, 6 September 2026, and discover how filmmakers can turn human experiences into stories that resonate across cultures, platforms, and generations.
