Weddings are a chance to celebrate love, family, and the people we do life with. 🤍
Seven days of Indian wedding celebrations reminded me how rare it is to get this much time with family anymore.
At some point during the week, my husband told me to “embrace the chaos.”
He was right.
Because somewhere inside the outfit changes, the kids being kids, the packed schedule, the traditions, the food, and all the celebrating were the moments we’ll actually remember.
Day 1 was the beginning of wedding week and family time.
Day 2 was learning to lean into the chaos and make it part of the fun.
Day 3 was Haldi, color, water balloons, and one very enthusiastic 5-year-old.
Day 4 was Mehndi, both hands fully committed, and a change of venue.
Day 5 was Sangeet and another night of celebrating.
Day 6 was the wedding and reception.
Day 7 was brunch, family time, hiking, and finally slowing down.
Seven days celebrating an amazing couple. Seven days of family, traditions, laughter, food, outfits, kids, and memories.
Turns out embracing the chaos was the best advice of the week. 🤍
