Day 110. 1 day left, less than 2.5 miles, the victory lap. . Tomorrow is a day planned for the team and my friends and family that got me to not only the finish line but the start line all the way back on July 1st. It is our celebration together because I couldn’t imagine finishing this swim and not being able to give them a hug. . Marathon swim finishes are typically very lonely and it feels so special to have been able to plan this one with so many of you. Thank you again for being part of this journey.
NO frying, NO shaping deconstructed Korokke! aka my mom’s スコップコロッケ (Scoop Korokke) 🇯🇵 For a lot of Japanese people, korokke is tied to the neighbourhood butcher shop~ (お肉屋さんのコロッケ). Butchers would often fry them fresh in their own lard and sold them for super cheap~ And there are sooo many other types of korokkes too like kani cream korokke (cream and crab), kabocha no korokke (pumpkin korokke), curry korokke and so many other variations, so you can add whatever your heart desires. It’s also a classic item in bentos, or in the konbini hot snack shelf! I personally don’t want to go through the hassle of making it traditionally with the shaping and frying, so I always use my moms recipie that I grew up eating! Ingredients Potatoes 400 g Onion ½ Panko breadcrumbs about 30-40 g (but you can always do more) Ground meat 150g-200g • Salt ½ tsp • Pepper a pinch • Mirin 1 tbsp • Milk 1 tbsp or more (to taste) Olive oil for the pan Hope you enjoy!! . . . #japanesefood #japanesecooking #japaneseculture #japanesecuisine #korokke
Rocky goes BAD BAD BAD! FAQ: "Why does he talk like that?" > He's inspired by Rocky from Project Hail Mary. He could speak normally (probably better than me), I just chose to make him talk like that :) "Why do you talk like that?" > Oui oui baguette omelette du fromage. "It's scripted!" > Yes. And no. It's not scripted, it's "directed". His answers are generated on the fly. The "new directive" sequence is obviously scripted, but his reaction when he snaps out of it is generated live, and it's different every time. "What AI are you using?" > Whisper (ears), Gemma (brain and eyes), XTTS (voice), all running locally on my PC's GPU. "Where can I buy one?" > You can't, it's a personal project and still a work in progress :) . . . #robotics #robot #projecthailmary #electronics
