It’s time again! Ranking my last 10 reads in a #top10 📚 Four of them are by Fonda Lee!! I loved her writing and the #TheGreenBone trilogy. Do you agree with the ranking? What have you read lately? #top10reads #bookstagram #fantasyreader
The offerings at Somerville's The Loov (pronounced like the museum in Paris) range from nude figure drawing sessions, salsa dancing, concerts, improv comedy, yoga and, recently, a play about gay sailors set in the 18th century. This cornucopia can make it difficult to explain what exactly the Loov is. Even its founder, David London, can't really describe it. “I don’t know, man…The idea is that, if it's a Loov show, it's going to be lit or terrible, but it's not going to be boring," he told WBUR arts contributor Lukas Harnisch. Located at an old warehouse bay in Somerville, The Loov has quickly gone from a handful of volunteers to sold-out shows and events in the last year. Head to the link in our profile for more. 📝🎥 Lukas Harnisch for WBUR

🗣️ I bet a million dollars that you knowwwww!
G R A T E F U L ✨ I am beyond grateful for this past weekend. I’m 6th in the W⭕️rld… THE WORLDDDDD. This season of my life I just wanted to be mentally strong, didn’t know what that looked like or felt like but after this weekend I know I am mentally stronger than I’ve ever been. The last time I stepped on the Olympia stage I was defeated before I even got on the stage. This year was not the case, I am beyond blessed with being able to be in the top 10. I don’t take anything for granted. Would I have loved to walk away with something tangible ABSOLUTELY, I’m an athlete I’m competitive. But God has bigger plans, so I’ll continue to wait and study at his feet. His timing and planning is perfect. With this 6th place placing I won much more than I could’ve imagined. I’m meeting people from all walks of life who express how my journey inspires them, I’m doing things I’ve never done because in the past I didn’t believe in being present, I’ve gotten closer to God. My friends and family traveled to see me do something I love. I am finally being seen as Cherish Richardson. Those things can’t and will never be taken from me. I’m more hungry for becoming better on and off the stage. When I’m strong internally it shines externally on that stage and im able to give my fans an experience. Delayed doesn’t mean Denied. I have a purpose I know I do and I have goals that once scared me, but after this weekend I made a promise to myself and with big g and said I’m ready. Onward and upward. Thank you tooooo everyone whole played a role no matter how big or small you played a role in getting me here from prayers to side convos of telling me keep going. I’m excited going into my improvement season and to keep building on being a better and healthier Cherish Richardson.
