Vidljivost je privilegija. A privilegija nosi i odgovornost.
еле.

That Tesla-SpaceX merger might be closer than you think...

In Texas last night, Tesla CEO Elon Musk staged the long-awaited demo of the EV maker’s new Roadster. Originally the company’s first car in 2008, production ended in 2012. By 2017, Elon was already teasing the 2nd Gen, but its debut was delayed seven times.

Before last night’s reveal, Musk touted the next-gen Roadster as “the best of the last of the human-driven cars.” During the event, he called it the result of “a collaboration with the world’s best car company and the world’s best rocket company.”

The unveiling saw the Roadster use its fan suction system to drive up and off a parabolic ramp, activating thrusters before landing. Later, it went on to do an aerial kick flip over a line of parked Teslas cars, and in a pre-recorded segment, it went from 0 to 60mph in less than a second using its thrusters.

Though Musk didn’t provide pricing, he said it would go into production by 2028. As for variations, three trims of the Roadster are planned: ‘Performance’ (‘road ready’), ‘Thrust’ (‘race ready’), and ‘Rocket’ (‘air ready’ and able to pull off those sick tricks). Tesla’s website requires a $50,000 deposit for ‘Performance’ and a $250,000 deposit for ‘Thrust’ (to get on the waiting list) while ‘Rocket’ is currently by invite only.
