The documentary NAZA “provides unique insight into how ordinary people get conscripted into a machinery of death", writes Omer Bartov. "These are not the sadists of the popular imagination of what genocide looks like," Bartov, the dean’s professor of Holocaust and genocide studies at Brown University, writes. "Many are upper-middle class graduates of the best schools who joined prestigious intelligence units, perhaps with the expectation of moving on after their army service to the hi-tech industry." "But they, along with the fighter pilots, are responsible, it appears, for the vast number of civilian casualties in Gaza. What motivated them to rain down so much death and destruction?" Swipe to read more and follow the link in bio for the full op-ed. NAZA, which is produced by the Guardian, is currently in cinemas and will be shown in more than 50 countries, including across the UK and the US. It will be available for free on the Guardian’s website from late November.
P4 in the championship to end the season ❤️‍🩹 We believed, we worked, and we fought every single lap. Leading the race here in Portugal before being taken out, then pushing all the way back to the finish. The battle between all the teams has been so fierce all season, and it was a real privilege to be part of this fight. Thank you to the team, my teammates and the fans for this year. Definitely a special one 🥹

🍎 3-Ingredient Caramel Apple Bubble-Up Bake! 🍂 Comment DESSERT and I’ll send you the recipe! 🤎 The EASIEST fall dessert with just 3 ingredients and 5 minutes of prep! Warm cinnamon apples, fluffy golden biscuits, and gooey caramel make this one SO good! Perfect for a cozy fall weekend! 🍁 🍎 3-Ingredient Caramel Apple Bubble-Up Bake Ingredients: * 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Grands biscuits * 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling * ½ cup caramel sauce Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish. 2. Add apple pie filling directly to the dish and spread evenly. 3. Cut biscuits into quarters and add them to the dish. 4. Gently toss everything together until the biscuits are coated in the apple filling. 5. Drizzle with ¼ cup caramel sauce. 6. Bake uncovered for 30–40 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through. Cover loosely with foil if the tops brown too quickly. 7. Drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce and serve warm! 🍂 TIP: Use a larger, shallow baking dish so the biscuits cook evenly and don’t stay doughy in the middle! Save this one for your next fall baking day! 🍎🤎
