What if I’d stained the door… would I be where I am today? 🤷‍♀️

It sounds like a big question about a simple door. But swipe through these before-and-afters, and you’ll understand why I ask it.

Inspired by Kay @onceupona1912 door, a talented, local woodworker crafted mine from maple. He wanted me to stain that beautiful wood.

I disappointed him. I painted it yellow. 🫣💛

And sometimes I wonder how differently this story might have unfolded if I hadn’t followed that little nudge.

That yellow front door became part of a story so much bigger than a cottage renovation. While I was restoring this house, our Father was restoring me.

The full story is in The Bright Side of the Other Side, hitting shelves TOMORROW. If you’ve ever wondered whether something beautiful could still come from the broken pieces of your life, I wrote this book with you in mind. Or maybe you just want to be inspired to live your best life.

But there’s something you cannot wait until tomorrow to do. ⏰

TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT, the preorder bonus window closes—including your invitation to our FREE virtual Night of Hope on October 19. I would love for you to be there for an evening of hope and encouragement. 💛

Comment BOOK for the link to preorder and claim your bonuses. Already preordered—even months ago? You still need to submit your preorder information before the deadline!

Tomorrow, the book hits shelves. Tonight, the invitation window closes. ✨

I can’t wait for you to read the full story behind the yellow door. And PS: it includes a love story for the ages.

Would you be happy paying 1.5% of your salary into a compulsory scheme for 40 years, with no option to opt out & you’ll never see a penny of it? 🤔💸

I’m a primary school teacher, single and without children. Yet I’ve spent almost 20 years contributing to the Spouses’ and Children’s Pension Scheme.

Over a teaching career, that could amount to €40,000+! And if I never have eligible dependants, there may never be a survivor’s pension paid on my behalf.

I’m not against protecting families. I’m questioning why we don’t have a choice.

I believe this deserves a review and discussion at Congress.

📢 Whether you’re a teacher or not, does this seem fair?

👇 Comment your thoughts and SHARE to get the conversation started!

€40,000+ is an illustrative estimate, not my actual contributions. Limited refund provisions apply.

See you in Stoneybrook!

The doctor will see you now…😉

Such a special, special day. To have the privilege of doing this with my family, to share a day with so many people, of so many different ages and backgrounds, and being a part of the moment when all their hard work was realised was deeply beautiful. And then getting to round it off with a brief uni reunion of my own…goals 🥰
The camera skills of my 7 year old boy, filming mummy making her speech, were the icing on the cake.

Thank you #oufamily. That’s a day I won’t forget.
