A regular grocery run in Cobb County allegedly turned into THIS. 😳🛒🔪

Police say a father was shopping with his wife and five children on Tuesday when they had some type of confrontation with a stranger identified as Pedro Barrera.

Investigators say Barrera walked away, grabbed a knife FROM A STORE SHELF, removed it from the packaging, then came back and allegedly started yelling at the family while holding the knife. 😳

Thankfully, nobody was hurt. 🙏🏾 Police say Barrera was still inside the store and still had the knife when officers arrived.

Barrera was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and five counts of cruelty to children. He was denied bond. 🚔

Police say it’s still unclear what started the confrontation.
