“Good morning Casso. I hope your day is off to a great start. I am a high school business teacher and adjunct business professor for Wallace Community College in Alabama. I teach in a predominantly Black rural school, with a large Hispanic population as well. With a Master’s degree in STEM, I created pathways for my students to become credentialed in Microsoft where they receive industry credentials that double as college credits. I will be introducing them to R, SQL, statistical modeling and data. I am excited as my babies got the chance to work with Congressman Shomari Figures of Alabama and many other initiatives through our DECA program. The first ever chartered DECA org for our school. I wanted to ask if it’s okay to share my Amazon wishlist in the Discord. I’m not asking for money. Each week I spend tons of my own money towards snacks and hygiene products. Coming from a food insecure area, I just want to make sure they have what they need and snacks are the least I can offer. They look forward to it. I am hands down the “cool teacher” lol! I wanted to ask for permission to post it. The main thing is to make sure they are full so they can focus. If not, that’s perfectly okay. Thanks so much for all you do for the community.
