A satisfying lunch can start with ingredients you already have: boiled eggs, canned tuna, cucumber and onion. Mixed with a little light mayo, they become a creamy, crunchy filling that’s easy to scoop onto toast or tuck into a wrap. Eggs and tuna both contribute protein, which your body uses to build and repair tissues, including muscle. Eggs also provide choline, a nutrient involved in cell membranes and normal brain and nervous-system function. Together, these ingredients give the mixture a useful nutritional foundation. Each ingredient has a job beyond nutrition, too. Mashed egg yolks help create a creamy texture, while the whites and tuna give the mixture substance. Light mayo binds everything together, cucumber adds a fresh crunch, and onion brings a sharper flavor that balances the richness. To make it, mash two boiled eggs, add one can of drained tuna, then stir in a spoon of light mayo, salt and pepper. Fold in the diced cucumber and onion and mix well. Draining the tuna thoroughly helps keep the filling from becoming watery, and finely dicing the vegetables makes it easier to spread. Serve with whole-grain bread and extra vegetables for a meal with more fiber and variety. Save this for your next quick lunch using simple fridge and pantry staples. 🥚🥒 🔒 Subscribe to @EatingHealthyToday to unlock exclusive healthy recipes you won’t find on the feed!
Ok yes, the left photo is a terrible angle in terrible lighting. I KNOW. But I genuinely have been the puffy-face girl my whole life, the one who looks swollen in every candid. And lately I’ve been catching my jawline in photos and doing a double take. 🥹 It’s not one magic product. It’s the little routine I’ve actually been sticking to: 🫧 ZO Exfoliating Cleanser + ZO exfoliating scrub: a couple of nights a week, my skin looks so much smoother after 🩷 Medicube cream with the massage tip built in. It’s lotion and jawline massage in one step, so I actually do it ✨ My Medicube device: a few passes along my jaw and cheeks while I watch TV 💜 Marée Chin Lifting Mask: 20 min while I answer emails, and it feels so tight and lifted afterward 🤲 Plus a few minutes of lymphatic face massage every morning (slide 5, I look ridiculous, it works) Is it a facelift? No. Do I feel more like myself in photos for the first time in a long time? Yes. And at almost 40 I’ll take it. #facelift
