WELCOME TO BEYOND BASIC

WE'RE NOT AN AGENCY.
WE'RE NOT HERE TO FIT THE MOULD.
AND THAT'S EXACTLY THE POINT.

I'm Lucy, also known as @luuellahh a freelance model, content creator and brand collaborator with 15+ years of experience and collaborations with over a thousand brands.

Over those years, I've worked with some incredible people and been lucky enough to build a career doing what I love.

But I've also seen the gaps.

Too often, the industry gravitates towards the same faces, the same aesthetics and the same idea of what a model or creative should look like.

And I've never been particularly good at fitting into boxes.

So I created Beyond Basic.

Beyond Basic is a creative directory and collective bringing together freelance models, photographers, makeup artists and other creatives who are experts in their own fields - but who also genuinely enjoy working together.

It's a place for people to discover talent, see our work and connect directly with the creatives they want to hire.

We're here for:

Editorials
Campaigns
Brand collaborations
Advertising
Content creation
Creative projects
Long-term partnerships

And we're deliberately not an agency.

Everyone remains freelance, independent and in control of their own work and fees. Beyond Basic doesn't take a cut from someone's booking - it's simply a platform to showcase talent and create opportunities.

Because I believe there is so much incredible talent that gets overlooked simply because it doesn't fit the traditional mould.

Different looks. Different styles. Different personalities. Different experiences.

That's what makes the work interesting.

We're not about ego.
We're not about competing with each other.
We're not about taking opportunities away from anyone.

We're about collaboration.

Bringing good people together.
Creating incredible work.
Supporting each other.
And proving that you don't have to look or work a certain way to produce exceptional results.

This is Beyond Basic.

A collective of freelancers who are ready to create something a little different.

We're not here to fit the mould.
We're here to break it.
