Life threw me into the big sister role without asking for my consent, but it's one that I have come to love, embrace, and carry with such intentionality. So, it was such a fulfilling experience for me at last week's @blushgathering Dear Little Sister event.

I had the opportunity to speak to a room filled with curious little sisters about what it takes to dream a life and go on to build it brick after brick, lessons after lessons. All the while carrying the weight and expectations of being a girl child, a sister.

One "truth" I made sure to share is that life is mostly what you make of it, and you only live it once. So, while you have responsibilities to others and to the society, your most important responsibility is to live your life to the fullest for you. How you define your fullest is also all on you.
