"If we are going to see real development in the world, then our best investment is WOMEN!" - Only a few get this, and even fewer invest in this.

Thankful to @weavcapital @fsdhbank for getting it and putting their resources to it. It's been an amazing few months in the Female Founders Growth Programme.

"Teach her about how money really works, and she can change the world" by @ritaidehai

In my conversation with Madam Rita, she shared a powerful message for young women on how to become responsible big sisters and positive role models.

She spoke about her journey, how to start from zero, stay committed and build something meaningful with what you have.

Rita is a social innovator working across the environment, technology and the economy. She is the founder of @ecobarter, a company that helps Nigerians turn waste into value while creating better waste collection systems.

She also built Nigeria’s first reverse vending machine and continues to use innovation to support cleaner cities and vulnerable communities.

For Rita, responsibility goes beyond words. It means taking action, staying consistent and making a difference, no matter where you start.

Your thoughtfulness is actually the most beautiful part of this gift. Soo excited for my baby's new lunch bag from @oyein_e @oye_ima by @ritaidehai

Life threw me into the big sister role without asking for my consent, but it's one that I have come to love, embrace, and carry with such intentionality. So, it was such a fulfilling experience for me at last week's @blushgathering Dear Little Sister event.

I had the opportunity to speak to a room filled with curious little sisters about what it takes to dream a life and go on to build it brick after brick, lessons after lessons. All the while carrying the weight and expectations of being a girl child, a sister.

One "truth" I made sure to share is that life is mostly what you make of it, and you only live it once. So, while you have responsibilities to others and to the society, your most important responsibility is to live your life to the fullest for you. How you define your fullest is also all on you. by @ritaidehai

As seen at the National Plastics Summit, speaking on how innovation & technology solutions like ours @ecobarter @ecobartertechnology is shaping plastic circularity in Nigeria.
I had the pleasure of sharing how our ATM for plastics has wakened interests in recycling amongst young people who have continued to show exciting about using the machines to return their plastic bottles and earn cashback. I also shared on the infrastructural and funding challenges limiting scale at the speed we would have loved.

Overall, it was a great time sharing from experience and meeting the amazing champions leading circurity in Nigeria.

Thanks to @nigerianpap @policycentreng for making this happen. by @ritaidehai

May you find direction, peace, and fulfilment in whatever chapter of life you are in. It will end in praise.
