Thought I'd post this before August comes to an end.

I turned 44 on the 3rd of August. I look at the mirror and the battle scars are more visible than they have been before. It's no lie when I say it's not easy reconciling with that reflection sometimes, but I am trying to embrace it and know that I have to gracefully accept it.

Grateful to be alive.
