A Catholic woman who voted for Donald Trump explains that she is a single-issue voter. Her issue? Abortion. But that raises a much bigger question: What does it actually mean to be pro-life? What about children killed by gun violence? Families struggling to afford healthcare? Children suffering in Gaza? Sexual abuse within the Catholic Church? Violence against police officers on January 6? And allegations of sexual misconduct against Donald Trump? If protecting innocent life is the guiding principle, shouldn’t those issues matter too? In this video, I examine the contradictions of single-issue voting, the influence of religious institutions on political beliefs, and how abortion became a major dividing line in American politics. Faith and religious doctrine are not the same thing as unquestioning political loyalty. #ProLife #AbortionDebate #CatholicChurch #Trump #ReligiousPolitics Christianity SingleIssueVoter PaulForEquality

📷Reuters
