It's exactly 8 days since my friends from church executed this surprise birthday celebration on me. I walked into the venue thinking I was coming in for a 'worship hangout'. Alas! I was met with my favourite saxophonist, and while I was still trying to take that in, everyone else appeared from behind the scenes! My chest! This memory is forever etched on my mind. My goodness! I didn't see it coming at all! It is both honourable and humbling to be celebrated by not just the ones you love but by the ones who love you. I cried and cried and crewed!

I am deeply grateful to God for surrounding me with so much love! For giving me friends who see me and my many imperfections and CHOOSE to love me anyway. What a gift!
