This was my first time ever parasailing, and I went completely solo. I was honestly a little nervous showing up alone, but I ended up meeting so many lovely people on the boat. By the end, we were all cheering each other on, which made being the very first person to go up a little less intimidating.

Huge shoutout to First Mate Jesse and Captain Sean from @torontoparasailing for keeping everyone safe, bringing the good tunes and vibes, and hyping us up before we got airborne.

And the funniest part? The second I was up there, all those nerves disappeared. Floating over Lake Ontario with views of the water and the Toronto skyline was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve had all summer.

I guess this is technically episode 2 of me conquering my fear of heights 👀 Would anyone be interested in a “Do It Scared, But Do It” series?
