Fringe has been amazing but…
Here’s some truths:

We’re not actually called Jill & Jill.

We wore wigs for the show.

We made this show with a budget of £0.00

We couldn’t afford a PR team for the show.

We didn’t buy ANY big posters
(we had one small one in the venue)

YOU made our show a hit.

YOU sold out our run.

And even though Edinburgh feels like an unfair playing field. We’ve experienced that even with nothing, something is possible.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
Coral & Ricky xx

Italian prosecutors have opened a formal investigation into multiple senior Israeli officials, including minister of war Israel Katz, minister of police Itamar Ben Gvir, and IOF chief of staff Eyal Zamir. The formal investigation will examine the suspected torture, kidnapping, bodily injury, and theft committed against Italian members of the Global Summed Flotilla that sailed to Gaza in 2025 and 2026 in an attempt to break Israel’s siege and deliver lifesaving aid and medicine to Palestinians there. The investigation was opened after complaints were submitted by 50 Italian citizens detained during their participation in the aid missions. Since the first freedom flotilla sailed to Gaza in 2024, Israel has routinely abducted, detained, and tortured hundreds of EU, US, and Canadian citizens aboard legally chartered vessels that were sailing through international waters. The Italian investigation follows the opening of an investigation by French prosecutors earlier this year, and is part of the increasing global scrutiny of Israel’s treatment of flotilla members. From Italy to France to North America, our movement must ensure these investigations remain open and that they result in material consequences for the Zionist occupation, including formal sanctions against Zionist officials.

mass protests across france have escalated into violence and destruction as hundreds of thousands took to the streets demanding change. in paris, vehicles and businesses were set on fire, while lyon’s tourist office was torched. protesters also stormed marseille’s city hall, and a major fire caused extensive damage to the historic city hall in limoges. it began as student demonstrations over teacher shortages and deteriorating school conditions, but quickly grew into a nationwide movement, with labor unions and other groups joining calls for better wages, lower living costs, and improved public services. france’s interior ministry reported approximately 550,000 demonstrators across 110 marches, while organizers claimed as many as 800,000 participated. so far french police have made over 2,000 arrests, while 600 officers have been injured, amid widespread unrest. this is posted for journalistic purposes. this post does not promote or endorse violence, vandalism, or any type of destruction.
