My astonishing August, it never disappoints and I’m not ready to let go of August, but I can smell the presence of spectacular September. I visited this immersive, creative, educative most inspiring and important exhibition at the @vam_east. It was everything and more, I got my boogie down unapologetically in view of others because I’ve stopped caring what others think and more about what works my body. I shook off negativity whilst time travelling the various musical genres from gospel, jazz, blues, rhythm & blues, rock, ska, pop, drum and base, jungle, reggae, basically the whole spectrum of black music. It’s a lot to take in but very much worth it. #TheMusicisBlack #BlackmusicalhistoryinBritain #Blackwealth #Everydayisblackhistory #AfricanhistoryISWorldHistoryHerstory
