WORKSHOP: ADVANCED SOUND DESIGN TECHNIQUES WITH ISOLATED MATERIAL
 
We’re excited to present our first workshop, hosted by Isolated Material, who will take you through his sound design techniques, approaches, and creative practices.
 
Isolated Material is a producer and DJ exploring the deeper edges of dub, bass music, and hypnotic techno.
His productions fuse cavernous low-end pressure, textured atmospheres, and stripped-back rhythmic structures to create immersive, haunting soundscapes that balance tension with depth.
As a DJ, he is known for dynamic, cross-genre sets that move fluidly between bass music, techno, house, post-punk, dub, and beyond. His approach centers on building cohesive journeys while remaining instinctively responsive to the energy of the room, creating sets that are immersive, unpredictable, and deeply engaging.
 
During the workshop, Isolated Material will share insights into his creative process and explore the techniques and approaches behind his sound. Whether you’re an experienced producer or simply curious about sound design, the session offers an opportunity to learn, experiment, and look at sound from a different perspective.
